Aurora Music was born out of love for classical music, its power and the beauty it possesses. Aurora is our dream to share an experience with audiences and artists through our profound personal commitment to music.
Aurora Music has had the great privilege to work with more than 200 of the world’s leading musicians, artists, professors and soloists.
The prize is given to a person or organization who by his/her actions take a stand for human and democratic rights, for a free and tolerant world.
Aurora Music Master Classes offer individual master classes, chamber music coaching and participation in the Aurora Symphony Orchestra.
These three aspects are equally important. Aurora Music treats every student as one of the festival’s performing artists.
When people meet, they converse. We celebrate this with Aurora Talks. We offer a forum for dialogue and seminars in conjunction with our festivals. We are convinced that when people from all over the world and with different roles within music exchange ideas, it is a great boost for classical music, local culture and for the community. Here are some examples of topics from the most recent festivals: – Artistic leadership. The conductor’s role – comparisons with other kinds of leadership. – The giants of the North: Sibelius and Nielsen 15o years – Is music unfair? A conversation between international professors – Women in music, why are there so few male harpists?
